Dr. Meza was born and raised in El Salvador. He graduated Cum Laude from Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador. After graduating from medical school, he was accepted into a surgical residency and completed an internship at the Hospital Militar Central in El Salvador. He left El Salvador to pursue his dream of becoming a U.S. licensed family physician. While in Los Angeles, Dr. Meza worked as a medical assistant instructor and program director, training students to work in the areas of San Fernando, North Hollywood and Los Angeles then joined UCLA and completed his residency in Family Medicine and also Fellowship in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Meza enjoys working with patients from all backgrounds and provides non judgmental compassionate care.

As Program Manager at Living Longer Recovery, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to care delivery—drawing from a career that spans clinical, operational, and administrative leadership across nonprofit and for-profit settings. His experience includes managing programs of all sizes, from 6-bed residential facilities to 136-bed comprehensive treatment centers, across the full continuum of care. Jeff has also served as an accreditation surveyor for CARF International, equipping him with deep knowledge of quality standards, compliance, and continuous improvement systems. He specializes in developing clinical infrastructure and team dynamics that directly enhance client outcomes, integrating environmental design, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation in treatment tools and protocols. In addition to his leadership in the field, Jeff is the published author of The Physical Power of Language, a groundbreaking exploration of how language impacts the body and mind. He is currently working on his next book, Radical Kindness: The Transformative Power of Compassion in Action, which explores how kindness can rewire the brain, transform relationships, and drive both personal and professional breakthroughs.
